12.2023 - We have searched long and hard and have now finally found a beautiful, large workshop in Frøslev/Padborg. From January, we will be able to design, produce and dispatch our furniture to our customers from there.
But first things first: We have been looking for a new workshop for ‘das kleine b’ for some time now, because our lease here in Altona is due to expire in the foreseeable future. We couldn’t find anything suitable for us in Hamburg, so we extended our search to Schleswig-Holstein. And as we wanted to take our employees and family with us, we quickly realised that we needed a larger city nearby. And so we finally ended up in Frøslev/Padborg. That’s just over the German-Danish border, very close to Flensburg. And it’s really nice there.
Nothing will change for you. Delivery times, shipping costs, quality and standards remain the same. We have just taken the move as an opportunity to relaunch our website and online shop and also offer a Danish version. We will be launching the new site this month. For our neighbours from the Neue Mitte Altona, things will of course change – we are no longer around the corner. But we hope that we will still stay in close contact. And we would be delighted to continue to fulfil your furniture ideas and wishes. As we will remain strongly connected to Hamburg one way or another, deliveries to the Hanseatic city will not be a problem.
In any case, we are very much looking forward to everything that lies ahead. The move to Denmark, the new workshop, the new inspirations …. we’ll be happy to take you along for the ride.
