Since we always say that our furniture is made from local oak, there has to be a lot of transparency: Out of necessity, we bought several oak trunks from Slovenia. A large Hamburg wood dealer put his connections to work - and fortunately informed us. So…. Once across Europe with a fully loaded semi-trailer - but at least we can work and actually got a dream oak tree. Nevertheless, we are of course working to ensure that we will soon use local wood again to make our furniture.
