Cutting Board - Maple/ Oak

This Christmas, we are celebrating the comeback of the classic kitchen board. These multi-talented boards can be used for serving, presenting, cutting, carrying, and they look good and impress with their details – and above all, they make great Christmas gifts.

The handle is turned and grows out of the board, so to speak, making it robust, very stable and unique. However, the handle is not merely a stylistic element: together with the sloping edge, it ensures that the cutting boards can be carried easily even when heavily loaded. The individual parts are glued together with waterproof adhesive and the wood is ideal for use as a cutting surface. The cutting boards stand on small rubber feet, which are non-slip and protect the surface underneath.

Each cutting board is a unique, handcrafted piece. They are produced in a collaboration between Theo Baumann and “das kleine b”. Theo is the youngest employee in the family business. He has been woodturning and building for several years and is now venturing into his first small production run. Theo made his first appearance with the cutting boards at a craft market in Flensburg in November. His success has encouraged him to now also sell online. 
We will gradually be offering more and more new cutting boards. As mentioned, each one is unique.
